Biophotons: The Human Body Emits, Communicates with, and is Made from Light

Science is starting to agree with direct human experience.
There is more going on than what we can measure and we are made up of more than just our DNA, atoms and molecules.
We are beings of light as well.

First of all, it is a miracle that we exist.
We often seem to ignore this basic miracle.
If you think about the world not existing or us being in some sort of void, it’s a little hard to fathom.
Somehow with a mix of the four elements, light from the sun and the materials from the earth we are able to have complex DNA that creates our bodies.
One of the reasons we are here is because of the light from the sun.
The sun is also able to give us the food we need to live.
What is even more incredible is that our bodies emit light.

The human body emits ultraweak photon emissions known as biophotons.  The visibility of these cells is 1,000 times lower than what our eyes can pick up on their own.  The particles or waves of light are only visible in the electromagnetic spectrum between 380-780nm.

Our Cells and DNA Use Biophotons To Store and Communicate Information

What is exciting about this idea is that the biophoton used by your bodies cells is used to communicate.
This communication transfers energy and information much faster than the speed of chemical diffusion.
“Cell to cell communication by biophotons have been demonstrated in plants, bacteria, animal neutriophil granulocytes and kidney cells.”

Researchers in 2010 were able to demonstrate that

“…different spectral light stimulation (infrared, red, yellow, blue, green and white) at one end of the spinal sensory or motor nerve roots resulted in a significant increase in the biophotonic activity at the other end.”

Researchers then interpreted their finding to suggest that

“…light stimulation can generate biophotons that conduct along the neural fibers, probably as neural communication signals.”
Even if you go all the way down to the molecular level in our DNA we can find the source of the biophoton emissions.
One of the research authors suggested that DNA is so dependent on biophotons that it appears to have laser-like properties.

The Body’s Circadian Biophoton Output

Researchers have been able to map what parts of our body actually glow during different times of the day.

Generally, the fluctuation in photon counts over the body was lower in the morning than in the afternoon.

The thorax-abdomen region emitted lowest and most constantly.

The upper extremities and the head region emitted most and increasingly over the day. Spectral analysis of low, intermediate and high emission from the superior frontal part of the right leg, the forehead and the palms in the sensitivity range of the photomultiplier showed the major spontaneous emission at 470-570 nm.
The central palm area of hand emission showed a larger contribution of the 420-470 nm range in the spectrum of spontaneous emission from the hand in autumn/winter. The spectrum of delayed luminescence from the hand showed major emission in the same range as spontaneous emission.

“The spectral data suggest that measurements might well provide quantitative data on the individual pattern of peroxidative and anti-oxidative processes in vivo.”

Meditation and Herbs Affect Biophoton Output

Researchers have also found that biophoton emissions were different in people that meditated vs people who didn’t.
They believe it has to do with free radicals moving around the body but they aren’t sure.
The lowest UPE intensities were observed in two subjects who regularly meditate. Spectral analysis of human UPE has suggested that ultra-weak emission is probably, at least in part, a reflection of free radical reactions in a living system. It has been documented that various physiologic and biochemical shifts follow the long-term practice of meditation and it is inferred that meditation may impact free radical activity.[13]
Plants such as rhodiola were also shown to reduce the amount of biophotons being emitted by people back in 2009 according to a study published in the journal Phytotherapeutic Research.

Human Skin May Capture Energy and Information from Sunlight

Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology in 1993, reported that:
“Artificial sunlight irradiation induces ultraweak photon emission in human skin fibroblasts,”
“These data suggest that xeroderma pigmentosum cells tend to lose the capacity of efficient storage of ultraweak photons, indicating the existence of an efficient intracellular photon trapping system within human cells.
Melanin has shown that it is able to transform ultraviolet light into heat using a process known as “ultrafast internal conversion”.
More than 99.9% of the UV rays that we absorb can be DNA-Damaging, but instead it is turned into harmless heat.
If It can turn light into heat then who’s to say that it couldn’t turn UV radiation into other metabolically or biologically useful forms of energy?
What do you think about this?
Are we beings of light?
